And here are your fabulous entries to the Palm Groms’ challenge set by artist Amy Dunis (Adventurous Pencil) over on our Facebook … to draw your own paddling picture. Check them out below …
Here’s a few words from Amy on your artwork :
Just like the rivers, the creativity has been flowing! So much action and energy captured by pens and pencils. I’ve absolutely loved receiving your drawings and I’m feeling more inspired than ever to get on the water! A huge thank you to all for taking part in the Palm Doodle Challenge. From magical chocolate rivers, to sunny splashy days, with wildlife galore. I’ve been blown away by the submissions. Keep up the creating.
If you’d still like to enter your picture to the doodle challenge gallery, send your design to graphics@palm.equipment with your first name and age … or post in the comment thread on Facebook.
James – age 11 – a glimpse of the underwater world through the shimmering surface! Ollie – age 14 – so 3D looking! … perhaps both kayaking and art are about focus. Darcy ‘Doodle’ – age 8 – a marshmallow river? Yes! Fear H – junior – dreamlike and fantastical! Paddling by moonlight. Isabelle – age 11 – so much to look at, and the interesting patterns that come from a change of perspective. Super! Ally – age 15 – sunrises and starlit campfires! Brilliant colour palette, the way the colours shift around the circle. George – 14 – mixed media and the challenge of composing within a constraining circle. Great stuff! Tess – age 10 – making the abstract forms of nature fit your great composition! Catriona – adult – wild shapes! Each part invokes a different thought or feeling. Alex – adult – it’s a quilt like kaleidoscope of nature! Anna – adult – in the zone, completely aware of everything around. Fiona – adult – a great concept. And the binocular effect is super! Hazel – adult – wait is that kayak a fish? Somehow reminiscent of Haida art … intriguing. Grant – adult – just enjoying using pens and paper is reason enough to get drawing! Melanie – adult – where does the river lead? Great line work! Matthew – adult – clever digital and physical crossover. Exceeding the frame of the picture adds real depth! Kirstie – adult – perhaps the kingfisher is admiring how colourful the wildlife is!
