On our nice local whitewater river Oker – was a nice trip in the snowy Harz mountains

Every time I am on the river with good friends having a nice vacation in the van, sitting together in the evening and sharing paddling memories,
Where should everybody go paddling once?
In Corsica! Nice rivers there, very nice landscape.
What else do you like to do when you’re not out paddling?
All different kind of sports, like beach volleyball, surfing, snowboarding, biking.
What’s your best advise for other paddlers?
Try as many paddling sports as possible it is worth it! They all have there own advantages. And paddle at different places. There are so many nice places in the world, no place alone can be so beautiful like they are all.
What are your favourite bits of kit?
I love the tsangpo basic layers! Warm and cozy
Where is left on your list of places to go?
New Zealand (but the plans for that trip are getting bigger) and south America.
Describe your perfect day on the water?
Awake on a nice spot in the van, after a nice breakfast heading for the river with nice level and best weather. On the river a chilled tour with good friends, not to easy and not to difficult. After that having some beers and a barbecue – Just perfect!
What are you most looking forward to in 2017?
I will go to Portugal in a few days and i´m fired up for that! You will read something about the trip in the blog!
