Where did you last paddle?
I last paddled at Saint Pierre De Boeuf on my trip out to France. You will normally find me kayaking at Cardiff International White Water.
What are your best paddling memories?
My top three paddling memories were the first time I ever rolled which was on my ninth birthday in my new kayak, running the Middle Tawe with Eddy Mead and landing my first ever scored Fonics Monkey which was in a competition.
Where should everybody go paddling once?
Everyone should go paddling on the Tryweryn as it has a good variety of rapids that are fun.
What else do you like to do when you’re not out paddling?
I like to spend time with my family and pets as well as doing tricks on the trampoline, I like to pretend I’m in a kayak doing freestyle tricks, I find it actually helps with freestyle kayaking.
What’s your best advice for other paddlers?
Make sure that you are always having fun on the water!
What are your favourite bits of kit?
The Rocket cag as it keeps me dry, warm and fits me well – it’s been hard to find good gear the right size. I’m looking forward to a Rocket cagdeck!
What is left on your list of places to go?
There are lots of places I want to go but at the top of my list is Millau in France because of the freestyle (I will hopefully be going there next year), USA and Germany.
Describe your perfect day on the water?
Warm, sunny, lots of friends and a great play spot for freestyle.
What are you most looking forward to in 2017?
The Freestyle Club Champs in Nottingham.
